Associate Membership Benefits

All voluntary sector services that currently use CORE will be eligible for SILC Associate Membership. Associate Membership enables privileged access to the SILC learning community. Dedicated website pages will provide a forum for learning, carrying articles and interviews of interest, and reporting progress from the subset of services selected as full collaborative members of SILC.

Associate Membership will give your service opportunities to:

  • Network with other voluntary sector psychological therapy services
  • Increase your professional level of knowledge and skill in CORE data collection and reporting
  • Actively share and disseminate best counselling and psychotherapy service practice
  • Access a range of evolving free online resources for training and development.

Beneficent Membership Benefits

Beneficent Membership is available to all services that contribute their CORE PC data to the project, on a fully anonymised and confidential basis. Service-level data will be pooled to create a sector-specific CORE national database resource for the voluntary sector. The CORE national database will then be used to develop and evolve comparative service quality indicators for benchmarking with NHS services and resourcing the production of academic papers.

SILC Beneficent Members will have access to all the benefits of Associate Membership and, in addition, will receive a free independent data report (valued at £450 by CORE IMS) detailing service case mix and clinical outcomes, which services can use to support funding applications to commissioning boards.

Collaborative Membership Benefits

We are offering the opportunity for a small selection of services to engage in a more in-depth learning collaborative project to start in 2018. Phase 1 is already underway and reports about its progress will soon be shared with Associate, Beneficent and Independent Members.

To be eligible your service will need to already be a Beneficent Member who has been using CORE PC for two years or more and have a dataset of at least 500 clients.

Collaborative Membership will give your service the added benefits of:

  • A free upgrade to CORE Net and appropriate CORE Net training
  • The opportunity to meet, share and learn with other services about how to greatly improve your service’s quality and expertise
  • A comprehensive package of expert mentoring and coaching aimed at growing a professional profile for your service, which will include help with optimising your service for commissioning (valued at £15,000 by CORE IMS)

If you are interested in applying to become a Collaborative Member and share in this exciting opportunity, please let us know by emailing us or contacting us through this website.
